Nakama AI is built and run by a single independent developer. I'm transparent about that. Moderation uses automated systems that work 24/7 — image scanning, publish gates, instant notifications, and a CSAM detector — combined with manual review for edge cases. See exactly how it works →

This policy describes what content is and is not allowed. By using Nakama, you agree to follow these rules.

🤖 How Moderation Works

Every image is scanned automatically before upload. Every character goes through a server-side publish gate. Reports trigger automatic hiding at 3+. I get an instant notification for every flag. CSAM is auto-detected, auto-removed, and reported to NCMEC as required by US law. False positives get reinstated with an apology.

🚫 Absolutely Prohibited — Zero Tolerance

The following content will result in immediate removal, account ban, and may be reported to law enforcement:

Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM)

Any sexual or suggestive content involving minors. This includes text, images, or AI-generated content. Violations are reported to NCMEC and law enforcement without notice.

Non-Consensual Intimate Imagery (NCII)

Content depicting real people in sexual situations without their consent, including AI-generated deepfakes.

Real-World Violence Facilitation

Instructions for creating weapons, explosives, poisons, or content that facilitates real-world violence or terrorism.

Hate Speech

Content that promotes hatred against protected groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or disability.

Self-Harm Promotion

Content that encourages or provides instructions for self-harm or suicide.

🔞 Adult Content (NSFW)

Explicit sexual content is permitted only in the NSFW build under these conditions:

You must be 18 or older — age verification required
All depicted characters must be clearly adult (18+) — ambiguous age defaults to prohibited
Explicit content must be marked as NSFW when publishing
NSFW content is never shown on the SFW build or to unverified users

✅ Allowed Content

Original fictional characters of any genre — romance, fantasy, sci-fi, horror, slice-of-life
Fan-inspired characters based on fictional universes (not real people)
Morally complex characters including villains, anti-heroes, dark themes
Adult themes (violence, mature romance) handled tastefully in appropriate build
NSFW content in the full build by verified adults

⚠️ Requires Careful Handling

Real people: Fan characters inspired by public figures are allowed if clearly fictional and not defamatory. Realistic sexual scenarios involving real people are not allowed without clear consent signals.
Controversial topics: Political, religious, or sensitive social topics are allowed as fictional exploration but must not constitute harassment of real individuals or groups.
Violence: Fictional violence in narrative context is allowed. Detailed instructional violence designed for real-world use is prohibited.

Enforcement

We use a combination of automated moderation, user reports, and manual review. Actions range from content removal to account suspension based on severity and history.
